Garhwa: Harassment for dowry after 6 months of marriage, matter not resolved even in Panchayat

Garhwa, Bureau Desk | In Garhwa district, just after 6 months of marriage, the dispute regarding dowry increased so much that the matter reached the police station. The victim has alleged that her husband had started demanding a fridge and TV after marriage. An attempt was made to resolve the matter at the Panchayat level but the in-laws remained adamant on their demand. Ultimately the victim took refuge in the police.
