Tiwari encounter: Congress demands all

Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram, after meeting Bharat Tiwari's family on June 21, demanded that the matter be investigated by the All-Party Committee of the Bihar Assembly. He said that Bharat Tiwari was a social activist who fought for the rights of the deprived sections and had become a troublemaker for those in power. Describing the police action as an "organized contract killer gang", Rajesh Ram said that the role of not only the local administration but also the state government is questionable. He said that the Congress party stands with the victim's family and will continue the struggle for justice.
