Nagoya: Ahead of the grand September 19 opening ceremony, eight sports including basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, and soft tennis kicked off preliminary fixtures across Aichi-Nagoya.
Iran took on Qatar in the basketball opener on September 10. India's campaign will formally begin with Teqball on September 17, followed by the Indian men's hockey team opener on September 20 against Indonesia and cricket defense on September 28.
