Relief from summer due to rain in Garhwa, farmers keep an eye on the weather for Kharif preparations.

There has been relief from the heat due to rain and clouds in Garhwa. In the last days of May, rain and strong wind were recorded in many parts of Jharkhand, the effect of which was also seen in the north-western districts.

This is the time for Kharif preparation for farmers. The planning of ploughing, seed availability and irrigation of fields is decided according to the season. If there is timely rain, preparation of paddy and other crops can become easier.

Agricultural experts say that farmers should keep an eye on the local weather forecast and avoid hasty sowing. Preparation for large scale farming will be better only after stable monsoon.
