New York: Large-scale data compilation from Pew Research, Match.com, and academic institutions paints a very different picture from social media tropes claiming women only desire tall, rich men.
Emotional intelligence and empathy are rated important by 84% of women, followed closely by sense of humour (81%), ambition and drive (78%), kindness (77%), and communication skills (74%). Financial stability was noted by 71%, while physical attractiveness was at 65%. High income was rated important by only 41%, and a strict 6-foot height preference mattered to just 38%.
