New Delhi: India has surpassed 300 GW of non-fossil power capacity, spearheaded by 165 GW of solar and over 50 GW of wind installations.

Non-fossil sources now represent 53.21% of the national electricity matrix, comfortably beating the Paris Accord 2030 benchmark of 50% nearly half a decade ahead of schedule.
