Married Couples Are Having More (and Better) Sex Than Singles, Survey Finds

New York: A new survey from telemedicine platform Hims & Hers has challenged the long-held assumption that marriage and parenthood kill libido. The Hims & Hers 2026 Sex Report, which polled 2,000 Americans aged 18 to 60, found that married couples are having sex nearly twice as often as singles — nine times a month on average.

Additionally, 63% of married people say their sex lives have gotten better with age, and parents are far more likely to consider themselves sexually confident and experimental. Dr. Jessica Shepherd noted that emotional security and freedom from performance anxiety are the primary drivers of this enduring desire.
