Memphis: The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed a federal lawsuit against Toyota Boshoku Jackson Tennessee, LLC and Toyota Boshoku America, alleging systemic sexual harassment.
The complaint details persistent misconduct since 2021, where male workers groped female colleagues and supervisors demanded sexual favors in exchange for promotion, terminating employees who formally lodged complaints in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
