India vs Afghanistan T20I Series: Bumrah, Sundar, and Nitish Declared Match-Fit
India received a major boost ahead of the Afghanistan T20I series with Jasprit Bumrah, Washington Sundar, and Nitish Kumar Reddy clearing match simulations.
New Delhi: Team India received a major boost ahead of the 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan starting September 13 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, as lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah, all-rounder Washington Sundar, and explosive youngster Nitish Kumar Reddy were cleared fit.
However, pacer Harshit Rana missed match simulation drills due to a niggle and has been ruled out. Vidarbha seamer Yash Thakur has been called in as his replacement.
The DDCA also confirmed the match will proceed as scheduled on September 13 despite traffic coordination requests around the BRICS ministerial meetings in the capital.
